I have noticed that new hunters tend to not pay enough attention to the wind and their scent, what common mistakes have you seen new hunters make and what advice would you give them?

I ate it big time, tripped over my own stuff walking up to my stand once. Word to the wise: double-check everything and take it easy.

I used to trust cheap stuff and rush practice. Now I know better to learn the basics, control recoil and always check safety.
