Mine is some extra mags, 500 rounds of ammo, eye/ear pro, basic cleaning kit, water bottle, IFAK, electrical tape (fixes everything temporarily), notebook for tracking groups. And snacks, never underestimate the power of granola bars during a 3-hour session

Depends on which range bag for which firearm within which firearm category. Lotsa variables.

My "range box" is generic and stays in the truck. It has what I considered the necessities for any range trip; targets, ear muffs and ear plugs, staple gun/staples, cleaning supplies, mat to clean firearm on, surveyors tape in case I forget the sail tails, hand cleaner, hand cleaner and disposable towels, spotting scope, several different styles of support bags and there are probably a few other items I can't recall right now.

The tripod and all its accessories stay in the truck next to the range box along with a tube that carries several different cleaning rods.

My "range bag" contains another set of ear muffs, ammo, Garmin, hand towel, notebook and probably a few other items. The range bag stays in the reloading room when not at the range.

By leaving all the smaller items in the truck, I never have to load, unload and forget items I may need. So when it is a range day, I grab the range bag, and gun case(s) and head out.

I have a very large vehicle range box that contains pretty much everything I'd need to load, maintain, and fire rimfire, centerfire, black powder cartridge and black powder muzzleloading firearms. Separate boxes for rimfire, center fire, and BP PPB cartridge ammunition. A shooting bag for traditional muzzleloaders. Target stands, paper targets, gongs and all their support gear are always in the vehicle and ready for use.

We think alike.
