The difference between budget and quality glass is not marketing

My first red dot was a no-name budget option, my second red dot was a quality option and the difference in clarity alone was worth every dollar.
 
Yup - for the most part yer gonna get what ya paid for.

Romeo5 is my go-to "cheap" red dot ... Romeo7 takes a good thing up a few notches.
 
Some years back I was shooting rimfire competition and was using a Weaver T-36 scope. While practicing one day with my gunsmith, I shot his rifle that had a Nightforce scope. That day, I ordered the same Nightforce scope. The difference was amazing. I can still remember how bright, sharp and clear the glass was when first looking through his scope. More money, yes, worth every penny, yes!

That’s the moment you realize “just as good” usually ends the second you actually look through better glass....

That’s usually how it happens, one look through good glass and suddenly your wallet starts making expensive decisions..
