Four hours of sleep and a gallon of coffee and I still exhausted. There's no replacement for actual rest, ever try to hunt on basically no sleep?

Four hours? That’s less sleep than my dog gets! Coffee’s a crutch, not a miracle.

I tried hunting on almost no sleep once, and it was the worst. It's hard to stay sharp when you're exhausted all morning.

I once went hunting after almost no sleep and my focus was shot. I missed a pretty easy shot and blamed the rifle at first, but really, I just needed to be rested.

One time, I tried hunting after only about three hours of sleep. I spent half the morning just forgetting simple things, like where I'd even put my gloves. Coffee can keep your eyes open but it's NO substitute for a good night's rest or actually being sharp mentally.

I once hunted on just three hours of sleep and completely missed a chip-shot buck at 80 yards, standing broadside. Never let myself make that mistake again, tired eyes will let you down every time.
