People think I'm crazy but the hunting there is way better and worth the drive every time. What's the furthest you've driven for a hunt?

I once drove eleven hours into Montana for antelope. By day two, I’d already forgotten the long drive because that country felt unreal..

When I was living in TN it was an 25 hour drive with several stops to Gillette WY where I hunted prairie dogs.

Now that I live in the upper northeast corner of NJ, its a 40 hour drive with stops to Gillette WY. I can't go this year, but next year I be going again.

Some of the drive is boring, but overall I like it. When out on the grasslands, I can forget about all the issues and enjoy myself.

Eight hours doesn't sound crazy if the hunting is consistently better. I've done some long drives for fishing and hunting trips.
