Lately, I've had more time to mess around at home, tidying up and doing some simple DIY upgrades. Things like fixing up stocks, changing slings and building target stands are pretty fun. It's a good way to really learn about your gear, what projects have you done that made your setup better?

Which DIY project gave you the biggest practical improvement?

That's cool . Swapping triggers and making Kydex holsters yourself is a great way to get to know your equipment, what are you working on right now?

I'm totally with you! I've spent many weekends fixing up gun stocks and making target stands out of junk. It's a good feeling to really know your gear while saving money.

I made a target stand from scrap wood once. It looked good until the wind blew it away, so I learned to use sandbags quick

You should set up a safe gun storage area, cleaning station, reloading bench, target stands, and a range bag

Right on, I love making my own target stands
