I finally dialed in a load for my .308 that groups tighter than anything I can buy. It took forever to figure out but now I get why people reload. It's not just about saving money. What got you into reloading, the cost or the accuracy?

It stopped being about saving money right away and became about trying to make the perfect bullet.

If you're just the average Joe shooting factory rounds and accuracy is 1"-3", I would agree. That's the way my dad was. I prefer a constant .5 or less at 100 yards. If I can only maintain a 3" group at 100 yards can you image what it would be at greater distances.
