My first shotgun...

My dad surprised me with my first shotgun for my birthday, it was a Mossberg 500. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. We went shooting that same day and I was terrible but didn't care. I have been hooked on shotguns ever since. Anyone else get their first gun as a gift?
